Thought
i'd put up some pics today.
Sea Plume |
With all the angst over coral bleaching
Elkhorn Coral |
i wanted to put up some pics
Sea Fan |
from around the island
Flamingo snail shells on Sea Fan |
that show that we
Star Coral |
Star coral up close |
still have living coral
Fire Coral |
and sponges.
Sponge under the F'sted Pier |
Its either Sea Whips or Sea Rods not sure |
Either Sea Rods or Sea Whips not sure which is which |
Brain Coral |
A few fish.
French Anglefish at Green Cay |
Horse-eyed Jack |
Yellowtail Damselfish |
This last beautiful fish saw me taking a picture this morning at Cane Bay and attacked the lens more than once. The first time it startled me because
i've never had a fish attack the camera...then it became a game as it continued to attack and retreat into the fire coral. Spunky fish.
Scaly-napped Pigeon |
Ruddy Turnstone |
Since I'm a birder its hard for me not to post at least a few beautiful birds.
And the final sunrise a few days ago.
See ya next week

Thank you for sharing your beautiful observations. I wish I could be there with the Cane Bay morning swimmers.

Beautiful. I was just telling Mignon how I'd love to go to ETC to go swimming and snorkelling. I miss everything you show us with your photos.
