People were either in their cars so as not to get wet or walking around with umbrellas and raincoats. Others had staked out their spots under the arches and out of the rain. Everyone was waiting in anticipation.
When 8:00pm arrived a roar went up as the first explosions lit up the air. The skies were cloudy but dry and for the bulk of the show the rain held off. It didn't start dripping until the finale. i had one small child next to me on the waterfront that was barely old enough to speak but kept saying WOW!WOW! throughout the whole show. He was a cutie and loved it.
Hope you enjoy these few shots from last night I just couldn't resist posting them.
See ya next week
Can't believe I captured that circle of light! |
