St. Croix Mango Melee and July 4th Fireworks

Fireworks and the Mango Melee all in one weekend made for a busy time here on island...Enjoy

There was an Emancipation concert, street fair and fireworks all wrapped into one evening. So after touring around we settled in on the wharf right of the pier and waited for the display which started off with a few duds. Everyone was groaning saying this is what we had to look forward to from now on. That there was no money, blah, blah, blah. But then it picked up.

and after the finale we went home...but by Sunday we were back at it at the Mango Melee for some taste testing.
